In order to achieve a state of acceptance of all facets of yourself, you must first understand who you are, why you do what you do (and what you have done), and why you have chosen the path that has brought you to this moment.
In the search for understanding, clarity of view is essential, yet almost impossible to do with oneself. Self-judgement consistently sabotages any attempt at self-discovery, understanding, and eventual acceptance. By continuing to judge one”s nature and past mistakes/choices, one prevents oneself from seeing those events/choices clearly, understanding them fully, and becoming whole by incorporating all of who you are into your sense of being.
